ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,577,384, issued on March 17, was assigned to Basell Poliolefine Italia S.r.l. (Milan).
"Polyolefins compositions obtained from recycled polyolefins" was invented by Claudio Cavalieri (Ferrara, Italy), Mauro Treossi (Ferrara, Italy) and Marco Consalvi (Ferrara, Italy).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A polypropylene composition made from or containing (a) recycled polypropylene, (b) recycled polyethylene (c) a polyolefin elastomer (POE) and (d) a polypropylene-containing composition."
The patent was filed on Oct. 25, 2021, under Application No. 18/033,020.
