ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,693, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Bardy Technologies Inc. (Vashon, Wash.).
"Defibrillator with an insulating-material-filled module" was invented by Jason Felix (Vashon Island, Wash.) and Gust H. Bardy (Carnation, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A defibrillator with an insulating-material-filled module is provided. The defibrillator includes a module comprising a pulse generation circuit configured to generate therapeutic defibrillation waveforms, wherein the module is potted with an insulating material."
The patent was filed on Jan. 13, 2025, under Application No. 19/018,895.
