"Real-time cross-channel reverse authentication" was invented by Indradeep Dantuluri (Harrisburg, N.C.) and Pavan Chayanam (Alamo, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for reverse authentication across communication channel technologies. An enterprise call application may publish an event associated with an active call to a real-time monitoring application. Each event may include an agent identifier and a customer identifier. The real-time monitoring application may maintain an event queue for the active call. ...
