US Patent Issued to BAE Systems on May 19 for "Biasing structures" (British Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,633,655, issued on May 19, was assigned to BAE Systems PLC (London).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In some examples, a biasing structure for a unit cell of a meta-surface comprises a first illumination source to irradiate a first photovoltaic element, the first photovoltaic element so configured as to generate a biasing current to bias an active asymmetrically conducting device bridging a pair of electrically separated conductive patches defining a surface of the unit cell."
