ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,566,053, issued on March 3, was assigned to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. (Nashua, N.H.).

"Mid-body warhead for projectile" was invented by Matthew F. Chrobak (Groton, Mass.), Jacob W. Miska (Nashua, N.H.), Jason H. Batchelder (Nashua, N.H.), Ryan Dippel (Arlington, Mass.), Paul A. Reitmeier (Huntsville, Ala.) and Michael I. Lacasse (Huntsville, Ala.).
