US Patent Issued to AVISION on June 30 for "OLED print head" (Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,069, issued on June 30, was assigned to AVISION INC. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"OLED print head" was invented by Yen-Cheng Chen (Hsinchu, Taiwan) and Chin-Hung Wang (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An OLED print head includes a control unit and a plurality of lighting units. The control unit is configured to output a start signal and a brightness signal. Each lighting unit includes a shift register, a driving circuit and an OLED. These shift registers are connected in series so that a shift output terminal of a previous stage's shift register is coupled to a shift input terminal of a subsequent stage's shift register.
