"Jig for forming structural building member" was invented by Darren Hercus (Cranbourne, Australia).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A jig 1 for wooden beam 20 construction, the jig 1 adapted to hold in position an upper beam 21 above a lower beam 22, in or overlapping its vertical footprint 22a, the jig 1 including a fastener dispenser 30 mounted on a translocatable carriage 40, the fastener dispenser 30 adapted to mechanically attach the upper beam 21 and the lower beam 22."
