US Patent Issued to AUO on June 23 for "Light-emitting element" (Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,666,765, issued on June 23, was assigned to AUO Corp. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Light-emitting element" was invented by YinYu Chen (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Yi-Hong Chen (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Chia-An Lee (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Yu-Hsin Huang (Hsinchu, Taiwan) and Kuan-Heng Lin (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light-emitting element includes a first type semiconductor layer, a second type semiconductor layer, a light-emitting layer, a first electrode, a second electrode, and a multi-layer film.
