ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,296,649, issued on May 13, was assigned to AUDI AG (Ingolstadt, Germany).

"Cooling system of a vehicle, comprising a coolant circuit which can be operated as a cooling circuit for an AC operation and as a heat pump circuit for a heating operation" was invented by Dirk Schroeder (Manching, Germany), Christian Rebinger (Munich) and Thomas Anzenberger (Ingolstadt, Germany).
