ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,555,167, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to Assured Insurance Technologies Inc. (Stanford, Calif.).

"Injury assistance model" was invented by Justin Lewis-Weber (Stanford, Calif.) and Theo Patt (Stanford, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A computing system can train an injury assistance model to provide individualized injury assistance to users involved in injury events. The system can receive incident data identifying an injury to a user. The system may then initiate the injury assistance model on the incident data to provide individualized injury assistance to the user while the user recovers from the injury."
