ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,637,902, issued on May 26, was assigned to ASSA ABLOY Accessories and Door Controls Group Inc. (Monroe, N.C.).

"Privacy system for sliding doors" was invented by William Hawkinson (Germantown, Tenn.) and Evan McCutchen (Memphis, Tenn.).
