ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,623,450, issued on May 12, was assigned to ASMPT SMT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. (Singapore).
"Angled printing" was invented by Neil Short (Weymouth, Great Britain) and Tom Falcon (Stoford, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The print quality of elongate deposits is improved by introducing an inclination offset between the squeegee blade and the elongate aperture of a stencil during a printing operation."
The patent was filed on Sept. 7, 2022, under Application No. 18/691,517.
