US Patent Issued to ASAHI SOFT DRINKS, ASAHI GROUP HOLDINGS on April 7 for "High intensity sweetener-containing beverage" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,593,860, issued on April 7, was assigned to ASAHI SOFT DRINKS Co. LTD. (Japan) and ASAHI GROUP HOLDINGS LTD. (Japan).

"High intensity sweetener-containing beverage" was invented by Risa Tomaru (Moriya, Japan), Ryo Ito (Moriya, Japan), Tomoko Ishibiki (Moriya, Japan) and Tetsuhiko Takemura (Moriya, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The high intensity sweetener-containing beverage of the present invention has a methyl anthranilate concentration of 0.01 to 40 ppm and/or an Alpha-phenylethyl alcohol concentration of 0.01 to 40 ppm."

The patent was filed on Sept. 24, 2021, under Application No. 18/549,943.
