US Patent Issued to ARx on July 28 for "Fenretinide formulations, systems incorporating same, and methods for their use" (Pennsylvania Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,691,080, issued on July 28, was assigned to ARx LLC (Glen Rock, Pa.).

"Fenretinide formulations, systems incorporating same, and methods for their use" was invented by Scott Barnhart (York, Pa.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Formulations comprising fenretinide, methods for the preparation of such formulations, systems (e.g., patches) comprising such formulations, as well as for their use as a secondary chemopreventive for precancerous lesions in the stratified squamous epithelium of mucosal tissue."
