US Patent Issued to Armament Systems and Procedures on Oct. 14 for "Method of making a training firearm" (Wisconsin Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,442,614, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Armament Systems and Procedures Inc. (Appleton, Wis.).

"Method of making a training firearm" was invented by Kevin Parsons (Appleton, Wis.) and Jilene H. Beyer (Neenah, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method is described of making a training firearm that has a replaceable magazine. The training firearm is not an actual firearm but possesses a visual look and tactile fee of an actual firearm, to enable a user to train realistically but safely."
