US Patent Issued to AptarGroup on Sept. 15 for "Dispensing valve" (Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,735,232, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to AptarGroup Inc. (Crystal Lake, Ill.).

"Dispensing valve" was invented by David J. Gaus (Midland, Mich.) and Gregory M. Olechowski (Kawkawlin, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A TPE valve (20, 20A) includes a head (125, 125A) with a central axis (43) and has an interior surface (130, 130A, 132, 132A, 133, 133A), an exterior surface (134, 134A), and at least one self-sealing slit (140, 140A).
