ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,307,172, issued on May 20, was assigned to APRIORI TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Concord, Mass.).

"Systems and methods for computer aided design analysis" was invented by Cormac Eastwood (Antrim, Great Britain), Jonathan Wilson (Armagh, Great Britain), Amanda Bligh (Boston) and Gibson Peters (Weymouth, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Pursuant to some embodiments, systems, methods and computer program code are provided for analyzing the embodiment carbon associated with the manufacture of a part."
