ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,412,645, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Customized presentation of health record data" was invented by Patrick W. Granvold (Oakland, Calif.), Jason B. Morley (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Zhe Li (Santa Monica, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A user device may use a curated health sub-ontology to index a user's health record data sourced from multiple electronic health record (EHR) systems. As part of indexing the health record data, the user device may create a personal health ontology that is specific to the user's health record data."
