ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,578,581, issued on March 17, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Head-mounted display with facial interface for sensing physiological conditions" was invented by Daniel M. Strongwater (San Francisco), Kristi E. Bauerly (Los Altos, Calif.) and Dustin A. Hatfield (Los Gatos, Calif.).
