ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,663,861, issued on June 23, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Eye-tracking assembly" was invented by Ivan S. Maric (Campbell, Calif.), Eric Shyr (San Francisco), James W. Sallay (Seattle), Aidan N. Zimmerman (Poway, Calif.), Shaw Chien Wu (Campbell, Calif.) and Keenan Molner (San Francisco).
