ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,665,988, issued on June 23, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for displaying a representation of a person" was invented by Jason D. Rickwald (Santa Cruz, Calif.), Giancarlo Yerkes (San Francisco), Rupert Burton (San Francisco), William A. Sorrentino III (Mill Valley, Calif.) and Peter D. Anton (Portola Valley, Calif.).
