ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,604,162, issued on April 14, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Mobile device with applications that use a common place card to display data relating to a location" was invented by Nathaniel R. Rivard (San Francisco), Marcel Van Os (Santa Cruz, Calif.), Emanuele Vulcano (San Francisco) and Srichand Pendyala (Cupertino, Calif.).
