ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,450, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to APEX BIOTECHNOLOGY CORP. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Biosensing test strip and biosensing test method" was invented by Chung-Yen Shing (Keelung, Taiwan), Bo-Chun Lin (Su-Ao Township, Taiwan), Sz-Hau Chen (Taipei, Taiwan), Hong-Wen Chen (Taichung, Taiwan) and Heng-Chia Liang (Minxiong Township, Taiwan).
