ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,522, issued on July 7, was assigned to Aperia Technologies Inc. (Hayward, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The system can include: a wheel-mounted pump and a dehumidifying system arranged along the fluid path between the pump outlet and a tire inlet. In variants, the dehumidifying system includes a set of angled channels that aggregate water in radially-outward channel segments. The angled channels can be fluidly connected to a purge valve selectively fluidly connected to an ambient environment."
