US Patent Issued to Amrize Technology Switzerland on April 14 for "Bonding adhesive and adhered roofing systems prepared using the same" (Indiana Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,601,178, issued on April 14, was assigned to Amrize Technology Switzerland LLC (Zug, Switzerland).

"Bonding adhesive and adhered roofing systems prepared using the same" was invented by Jiansheng Tang (Westfield, Ind.) and Joseph Carr (Indianapolis).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method is provided for forming an adhered membrane roof system that meets Factory Mutual (FM) 4470/4474 standards for wind uplift. The method comprises applying a bond adhesive to a substrate on a roof to form an adhesive layer and applying a membrane directly to the adhesive layer. The bond adhesive includes a moisture-curable polymer."
