ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,593, issued on June 30, was assigned to Amniotics AB (Lund, Sweden).
"Processes and apparatuses for obtaining amniotic mesenchymal stem cells from amniotic fluid and cells derived thereof" was invented by Jan Talts (Staffanstorp, Sweden), Niels-Bjarne Woods (Furulund, Sweden), Kare Engkilde (Vaerlose, Denmark) and Marcus Larsson (Bjarred, Sweden).
