ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,579,215, issued on March 17, was assigned to Amazon Technologies Inc. (Reno, Nev.).

"Learning ordinal regression model via divide-and-conquer technique" was invented by Sougata Chaudhuri (Mountain View, Calif.), Lu Tang (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Abraham Hossain Bagherjeiran (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
