ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,459, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to AMANO Corp. (Kanagawa, Japan).

"Brush device for charging airborne particles or eliminating static electricity of particles by corona discharge, electrostatic precipitator including the brush device and air cleaner including the brush device" was invented by Tsuyoshi Matsui (Hamamatsu, Japan), Tetsuya Sato (Hamamatsu, Japan) and Shohei Nakagawa (Hamamatsu, Japan).
