ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,691,019, issued on July 28, was assigned to Allen Medical Systems Inc. (Batesville, Ind.).

"Prone head support" was invented by Hung D. Nguyen (Worcester, Mass.), Andrew R. Marchand (North Billerica, Mass.), Mary Kelly Chance (Worcester, Mass.) and Christopher B. Dubois (Lincoln, R.I.).
