ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,503,594, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to Allegheny Singer Research Institute (Pittsburgh).

"Hydrophilic polyarylene ether ketone polymer and methods of forming same" was invented by Saadyah Averick (Pittsburgh), Boyle Cheng (Mars, Pa.), Andrew J. Kassick (Wexford, Pa.) and Michael Oh (Irvine, Calif.).
