ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,661,458, issued on June 23, was assigned to Alcon Inc. (Fribourg, Switzerland).

"Implant applicators" was invented by Tomas Navratil (Morrisville, N.C.), Akshay Nitish Nadkarni (Morrisville, N.C.), Gretchen Willard (Morrisville, N.C.), Andrew Corson (Morrisville, N.C.) and Matthew Walker (Morrisville, N.C.).
