ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,552,951, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to Agfa NV (Mortsel, Belgium).
"Aqueous dispersion of polymeric capsules" was invented by Johan Loccufier (Mortsel, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aqueous dispersion of capsules, comprise a polymeric shell surrounding a core, the core comprises an oligomer or polymer having at least 3 repeating units comprising a functional group according to general formula (I), (II) or (III) The dispersion of the capsules can be incorporated in an aqueous pigmented inkjet ink."
