ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,677,605, issued on July 7, was assigned to ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES INC. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Reusable templates for semiconductor design and fabrication" was invented by Gabriel H. Loh (Bellevue, Wash.), Todd David Basso (Boxborough, Mass.), Steven Tu (Austin, Texas), Joshua A. Hort (Boxborough, Mass.), Chia-Ken Leong (Santa Clara, Calif.), Benjamin Beker (Austin, Texas) and Anwar P. Kashem (Boxborough, Mass.).
