US Patent Issued to adidas on Feb. 10 for "Glove, in particular goalkeeper glove" (German Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,544,646, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to adidas AG (Herzogenaurach, Germany).

"Glove, in particular goalkeeper glove" was invented by Andre Pechtold (Neustadt an der Aisch, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A glove, in particular a goalkeeper glove. The glove includes a plurality of protrusions that protrude from a backside of the glove and extend in a first direction away from the backside. The protrusions are adapted to deform in a second direction that includes a component perpendicular to the first direction."

The patent was filed on Sept. 16, 2020, under Application No. 17/022,447.
