US Patent Issued to Acushnet on April 7 for "Golf balls having at least one radar detectable mark" (Massachusetts, Rhode Island Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,594,464, issued on April 7, was assigned to Acushnet Co. (Fairhaven, Mass.).

"Golf balls having at least one radar detectable mark" was invented by Michael R. Madson (Easton, Mass.), Nicholas M. Nardacci (Barrington, R.I.), Matthew F. Hogge (Plymouth, Mass.) and Richard Daprato (Acushnet, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Golf balls including one or more layers having at least one radar detectable mark disposed on the surface thereof are provided."

The patent was filed on Dec. 16, 2021, under Application No. 17/552,380.
