ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,607,406, issued on April 21, was assigned to ACADEMIA SINICA (Taipei, Taiwan).
"Recombinant virus, composition comprising the same, and uses thereof" was invented by Chi-Huey Wong (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) and Chung-Yi Wu (Taichung, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Immunogenic compositions comprising hemagglutinin (HA) variants and/or neuraminidase (NA) variants, which may be contained in an influenza A virus, and uses thereof for eliciting immune responses against influenza A virus."
The patent was filed on Aug. 14, 2024, under Application No. 18/804,734.
