US Patent Issued to ABB E-Mobility on Aug. 4 for "Reactor" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,700,535, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to ABB E-Mobility B.V. (Delft, Netherlands).

"Reactor" was invented by Yijie Cen (Shenzhen, China), Bing Huang (Shenzhen, China) and ZhiYong Lv (Shenzhen, China).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reactor, comprising: a support; a coil wound on an outer surface of the support and including a plurality of coil segments electrically connected in sequence; and at least one first insulating separator disposed on the outer surface of the support and separating the outer surface of the support into a plurality of regions, in which the plurality of coil segments is respectively arranged."
