US Patent Issued to ABACO SYSTEMS on May 12 for "Secure MIL-STD-1553 data bus" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,625,952, issued on May 12, was assigned to ABACO SYSTEMS INC. (Huntsville, Ala.).

"Secure MIL-STD-1553 data bus" was invented by Sam Grigorian (Fresno, Calif.) and Tim Uhl (Goleta, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems, devices, and methods for providing security on a MIL-STD-1553 serial data bus are described herein. Detected anomalies on the serial data bus that are determined to be threats are invalidated."

The patent was filed on April 30, 2021, under Application No. 18/555,899.
