US Patent Issued to Ab Initio Technology on June 30 for "Back-calculation of aggregates" (British, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,670,171, issued on June 30, was assigned to Ab Initio Technology LLC (Lexington, Mass.).

"Back-calculation of aggregates" was invented by Joel Gould (Arlington, Mass.) and Benjamin James Robbie Roche (London).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described are techniques for back-calculating one or more values of a new, real-time aggregate before sufficient data to calculate the new, real-time aggregate has been collected, wherein the back-calculating is based on data collected for one or more aggregates that have been executing prior to start of execution of the new, real-time aggregate."
