ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,553,898, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to 10x Genomics Inc. (Pleasanton, Calif.).

"Fluorescent hybridization of antibody-oligonucleotide for multiplexing and signal amplification" was invented by Cedric Uytingco (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Zachary Bent (Pleasanton, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods of determining a location or presence of a target analyte in a biological sample by detecting oligonucleotide-conjugated binding agents."

The patent was filed on Aug. 10, 2021, under Application No. 17/398,510.
