"Autonomous software testing agent" was invented by David Pahl Isaac (Bethesda, Md.) and Zachary Joseph Wild (West Falls, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method for performing autonomous testing of software applications is provided.
