"Pet carrier" was invented by Ian Berk (Oceanside, N.Y.) and Emily Miethner (Oceanside, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pet carrier is disclosed, wherein the pet carrier is made from durable padding, fabric, and mesh and includes a main cavity where a pet is housed. with a window made of breathable mesh. Additionally, the pet carrier includes a back flap configured to dynamically open and close by unzipping the back opening zip; the back opening is further secured by a snap mechanism."
The patent was filed on Jan. 9, 2024, under Application No. 18/407,559.
