"Intranodal needle and method of using the same" was invented by Ghassan S. Kassab (La Jolla, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Intranodal needle and method of using the same. The present disclosure includes disclosure of a method, comprising inserting a tip of a needle through the skin and into a tissue selected from the group consisting of a lymph node and a thoracic duct, and delivering an immune modulating agent through the needle and into the tissue to treat at least one immune disorder."
