According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A Blanket Cozy is composed of a top piece made of sheet material, a bottom portion also made of sheet material, and a separating zipper that serves to separate the two portions. The upper and lower halves of the sheet have the potential to combine and create a protective covering intended for use on a bed.
