"Toilet paper holder extender" was invented by Jose L. Bogarin (South Gate, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A toilet paper holder extender may include a base portion and a slide-out portion able to slide in and out of the base portion. The toilet paper holder extender includes a toilet paper holder to hold a toilet paper roll adjacent the toilet; and allows the toilet paper holder to be extended, enabling a user to position the toilet paper holder in a location that is more easily accessible to them.
