"Signature-assisted smart mirror" was invented by Ryland Stefan Zilka (Los Gatos, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted smart mirror system is provided that uses AI for tailoring operation of the mirror for at least one user. In use, an image of a face is received for performing facial recognition. Based on the facial recognition, at least one of a plurality of users of the mirror is identified, for enabling use of AI to tailor operation of the mirror for the at least one user."

The patent was filed on May 5, 2025, under Application No. 19/199,219.
