According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to securing tactical gear for use in the field. It could be secured to a field operative, such as personnel involved with a military, law enforcement, or emergency response. Alternatively, it can be secured to the vehicle utilized by such personnel. The present invention utilizes magnet to secure the equipment to the garment worn by the personnel, including helmets, belts and tactical or the vehicles used by the same people."
