According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a pom-shaking device primarily comprised of a first end having at least one housing and at least one pom streamer and a second end comprised of at least one handle. The housing may be hollow and filled with at least one bead that produces a sound when the housing is shaken. The device may also have at least one light and at least one speaker that is activated when the device is shaken to produce a sound and an illumination pattern."
