According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A step stool device is disclosed. The step stool device includes a mounted portion configured to be affixed to the inside of a cabinet door. The step stool device includes a step portion attached to the mounted portion, wherein the step portion is configured to rotate downward. The step stool device includes a support portion attached to the step portion, wherein the support portion is configured to provide support to the step portion upon contact with a fixed structure."
