"Dual hook" was invented by Wade Atteberry (Riverdale, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A dual hook device having both a grab hook and a sling hook connected to form one device for hooking chains, ropes, and cables and is capable of lifting heavy objects."
The patent was filed on May 18, 2022, under Application No. 17/747,600.
